NVPolicy Resource Center

NVPolicy Resource Center is a component of NetVision's Security Administration Framework — NSAF. NVPolicy Resource Center is a Web-hosted application that doesn't require the installation or maintenance of any special hardware or software. Through a standard Web browser it provides a policy development and deployment framework based on best practice IT security policies organized by computing platform.

It also facilitates an organization's ability to create their own policies, tailored to their business' specific needs. It closes the gap between corporate security policies and the people who implement these policies at a business, operations and technology level.

NVPolicy Resource Center automatically delivers the business' policies to each employee and documents when each employee has read and accepted the policies, facilitating the completion of user awareness and training requirements for certain industry security regulations.

NVPolicy Resource Center gives businesses a constantly updated library of detailed technical standards for hardening systems and applications that help them ensure their systems are configured securely. It enables businesses to make sure that every employee receives and knows what the business' security policies are and how to adhere to them.

Additionally, when combined with NetVision NVMonitor and NVAssess, businesses can ensure the automatic execution and enforcement of those policies. IT administrators can access NVPolicy Resource Center's continuously updated database of published or known vulnerabilities that have been aggregated from multiple industry sources.

The solution also features alerts on security patches, service packs, technical configurations and industry hardening standards. The NVPolicy Resource Center is completely integrated into the Web-based management console for all of NetVision's Integrated Security Policy Management offerings-NVMonitor, NVAssess, NVIdentity, and NVPolicy Resource Center.
