product details

Moab Workload Manager is a next generation workload policy engine and scheduler for clusters, enterprise grids and utility-based computing systems. Moab Workload Manager's architecture, as opposed to its predecessor Maui Scheduler, allows dynamic management of traditional compute resources, as well as software licenses, file spaces and network bandwidth. New communication interfaces enable rapid integration with in-house and third-party applications, such as provisioning managers, billing systems, identity managers and databases.

Moab Workload Manager also incorporates an event policy engine and multi-resource manager support which when combined with the above mentioned capabilities and associated third-party products helps provide true service level agreement enforcement, adaptive resource provisioning and identity-based usage tracking and reporting.

Moab Workload Manager? is also available with Moab Cluster Manager and Monitor, a graphical cluster monitoring application. Moab Cluster Manager and Monitor allows organizations to monitor the performance of their system as well as the status of jobs, reservations, and other resource availability/usage conditions.
