product details
To use the trial version of GW-CPU, extract the contents of CPU.ZIP. In the directory, you will see CPU.exe, CPUErrlog.txt, CPUlog.txt, CPU.INI, CPUdelete.ini and CPUDelete.bat.
When a user runs GW-CPU, it checks to see if GroupWise is open. If it is not, GW-CPU prompts the user to authenticate to GroupWise. After opening GroupWise, GW-CPU adds or removes the users identified in the INI file from the Proxy list.
The trial version requires that you create a GroupWise user called SampleUser (SampleUser for both the first and last name). The trial version allows you to change the INI file to reflect your environment. However, this will only work for the default user called SampleUser. When you register your copy of GW-CPU, we will send you the CPUREG.DAT file to copy to the installation directory. This will unlock GW-CPU for your installation.
To roll out GW-CPU, there are no files to install on your users' machines. GW-CCU can run completely from the server. Most administrators will install GW-CCU in the SYS:PUBLIC directory and use a Force RUN NALobject or login script that automatically adds the users to the Proxy List.
All of our GroupWise enhancement products have been updated for compatibility with GroupWise 5.2, 5.5, 5.5 EP, and Groupwise 6.x. We have more good news, too! Our products need no NDS schema extensions, require no complex installation of C3POs, and do not need the latest service packs.
