S2D (SLES 9 to Desktop) is Lumen Software's Terminal Services Distribution based on LTSP. The Lumen distribution called S2DTM (SLES9 to Desktop) incorporates all the earlier advantages of Lumen's EzThin and LENS distributions combined with the world class security of SLES9 (EAL4+) and Novell's best-in-class Identity Management Products.

In addition to being cost-efficient due to the elimination of licensing fees, S2D dramatically reduces IT resource drain and cost by eliminating any download on the desktop. The desktop boots directly to a server, allowing an organization to use older computers, (486, PII, etc.)
