Application Workload Modeler for Linux is included as part of the Application Workload Modeler for z/OS program package. It supports TCP/IP and can run in both Client/Server mode and Application Client mode.

In Client/Server mode, both the AWM client and the AWM server can be on Linux, or AWM for Linux can work with AWM on other platforms to support clients or servers on OS/390, z/OS, or Linux on zSeries.

In Application Client mode, the AWM client is on Linux while the real application server can be on any platform accessible via the network.
