Omni Messenger for GroupWise PDA access is the first mobile solution specifically designed for GroupWise Messenger. It integrates seamlessly into your current GroupWise Messenger server environment. Server changes and third-party applications sometimes negatively affect network performance and the user experience. That's not the case for Omni Messenger because there are no third-party server components that need to be added to your environment. Omni Messenger is a native GroupWise Messenger client.
GroupWise Instant Messenger Client
Operating as a pure instant messenger client, there are no dependencies on proprietary, unsecured messaging services like Yahoo, AOL or MSN Messenger.
Secure
Using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for all client-to-server communications precludes eavesdropping whether it is over Wi-Fi, GRPS or other wireless protocol. SSL not only encrypts the conversation, it alleviates fears of the possibility of an account being hi-jacked.
