District Dashboard utilizes the Lumenation Hyper-Portal's advanced technology and extraction methods and connects to virtually any data source, including those that are not odbc or adodn compliant. The dashboard has its own Data Warehouse built in empowering you to have snap shots of data from different types of data repositories such as a Student Information System, student demographics, attendance, HR staff, Finance, etc. The uniqueness of the Data Warehouse saves information in a format that is useful for summarizing and analyzing data by the Dashboard's different data views, including summary totals, graphs, linear regression graphs and interactive instruments.

In addition to extractors, which pull information "up" or vertically into Dashboard, you can utilize the Lumenation Data Integration System to connect information horizontally or from system to system. Spawned from the technology in the Dashboard, this feature allows a district to integrate existing data repositories such as PowerSchool 4.2.0, or SASIxp 5.3.3., etc. and automatically integrate data from these systems into Lumen Softwares extensive set of applications. For example, from a PowerSchool system a district can refresh Lumen's Software Special Education Management application, WeBSET, with student, parent and staff information. The result, the elimination of redundant and time consuming information input by district employees.
