FlexIMI utilizes a person's fingerprint, and one of the growing range of inexpensive fingerprint sensors, to biometrically authenticate users with the directory.

Integration with Novell Modular Authentication Services (NMAS) ensures that a user's biometric data is securely stored and securely exchanged between client workstation and server.

FlexIMI includes cross-matching support for a wide selection of biometric devices, including those from Cherry, Precise Biometrics, Authentic, UPEK and RedSky Global.
