product details
Data and Network Security: Using MindTheBox and its robust security architecture, significantly minimizes the risk of data loss, vital information theft or virus attacks. It allows centralized protection of data and applications, and prevents installation of unauthorized programs. A variety of security policies allow administrators to authenticate and control client access. Modular lists of users can be created to permit or prohibit access to applications or information within a timeframe. MindTheBox encrypts and decrypts all information transmitted across the network using a 128-bit public-key encryption technology, which makes access from any device situated anywhere a safe operation.
Performance and Scalability: MindTheBox architecture includes load-balancing, redundancy of key components and clustering capabilities. The load balancers enable the support of an unlimited number of sessions with the assurance that no single server is overloaded. The redundancy of the system's main components, such as data bases and licensing information, guarantees high availability and disaster recovery, which avoid any downtime in the service. The system makes sure that performance is not adversely affected during peak usage time by managing CPU utilization and performing optimization on server's virtual memory. MindTheBox can be easily scaled up by adding additional servers or upgrading CPUs, memory and storage of the existing ones.
Reduce Total Cost of Ownership: MindTheBox utilizes a state-of-the-art open source infrastructure to achieve an outstanding cost-performance ratio. By using MindTheBox, your organization will be able to leverage the benefits of server-based computing and significantly reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of applications and infrastructure. With MindTheBox, the organization will slow the hardware replacement cycle, reduce desktop costs and eliminate client application maintenance and upgrade work. Licensing management becomes a simple task, which may save a great deal of expense due to system analysis of software usage across the organization and central management.
