Gaggle provides a simple, low cost solution for email archiving with GroupWise. The Hosted version of Gaggle's Archiving Solution requires no hardware and can be configured and working in less than a day.

There is also software-based version that can be installed on servers in the customer's data center.

The Gaggle Archiving Solution offers many benefits:
  • All messages are indexed in real time for searching using Boolean terms
  • Common attachments types such as Word, pdf, PowerPoint etc are also indexed
  • Administrators can search for messages across an entire organization or sub unit
  • Each user's GroupWise folder structure and message locations are preserved in Gaggle.
  • Mail can be re-delivered to GroupWise from the Gaggle archives
  • Tiered permissions can give specific administrators access to a limited number of staff accounts
  • Secure off-site storage (We maintain two enterprise class storage systems in separate states)
  • Total data integrity (district personnel cannot alter messages)
  • A complete backup email system in case of emergency
Gaggle's Hosted Email Archiving Solution is based on the Store Before Delete function of GroupWise. Messages retrieved via IMAP at pre-set time intervals so as not to interfere with your organizations Internet bandwidth.
