Guinevere utilizes a number of different tools in performing its many functions. It integrates Spam Assassin under a GUI interface in order to eliminate potentially harmful or annoying spam. The eliminated spam is redirected to an automatically formatted folder where you can review if desired. The spam scanning capabilities of Guinevere are automatically updated through its auto rule learning. Guinevere holds possible spam while sending a "challenge" message to the sender. Upon receiving authentication from the sender, the message is released to the end user. End users receive a Digest Notification summarizing all email stopped as spam. Using the End User Release Tool, end users can automatically release blocked messages without contacting their GroupWise administrator.

Anti-Virus Technology
Guinevere has the technology and ability to monitor and clean attachments while also acting as an anti-virus weapon.
