Classic Line

Classic Line is a client-server ERP product, consisting of several modules including financial accounting, sales, purchase, payroll, fixed assets and production. The Windows-clients access the ISAM database either through a daemon for Linux- or a service for Windows-server. Classic Line is designed for small and medium sized companies that have the need for a complete, scalable solution (up to 50 clients). The product was released first in 1983 and has become a de facto standard for accounting software in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

In the past eleven years, the Windows-version of the product convinced more than 33.000 customers (companies). Classic Line is easy to learn and easy to handle since it can fully be operated by keyboard which saves a lot of time during data input. It's also much faster than most other ERP-products. It's data structures are well designed for the need of fast data processing. Nevertheless it is easily possible to access all data by office product suites like MS- or Open-Office. There is also a SQL-interface - an ODBC-driver - available. Classic Line requires less resources than many other products of same size and functionality. Most customers say that they have been able to be productive from the very first day they started.

Since five years Classic Line includes a web-client with the same look & feel and functionality than the windows (rich-) client. Therefore Classic Line is a very modern product while it contains the knowledge of a quarter of a century.
