Arkeia Network Backup version 7.0 delivers features to optimize data protection for complex and distributed enterprises such as those with remote or branch offices. Integral to version 7.0 is a new federated data protection architecture, full integration with EdgeFort appliances, a redesigned graphical user interface, enhanced Virtual Tape Library, and extended platform support..

Additional modules for Arkeia Network Backup include a Disaster Recovery module which provides users with a fast, efficient and easy-to-use bare metal disaster recovery capability. Other optional modules include hot backup plugins to enable online backups of a wide range of applications and databases, without ever having to take the application or database off line. Modules are available to perform live backup of widely used applications such as Lotus, Open-Xchange (including SLOX), eDirectory, LDAP, and MS Exchange, as well as leading databases such as Oracle, mySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, and MS SQL.
