Riva Portal Integration for GroupWise and SharePoint delivers transparent access to GroupWise email and information in a SharePoint Web Part:
- Summary View: displays number of unread emails and remaining calendar appointments for the day and appointment alarms
- Expanded View: displays the From, Subject and Date and appointment information in a single line
- "Connect" or clicking on an email opens GroupWise WebAccess without the user having to authenticate to WebAccess
Additional SharePoint Web Parts can be developed to allow:
- the user to include his GroupWise account when doing a search
- the user to include access to GroupWise documents and document management functions
- the user to access GroupWise address book in SharePoint
- other transparent integration points between SharePoint and GroupWise
