Lines of Business for OEM partners
Business Line
The Business Line offerings are based on SUSE Linux Enterprise. Full Subscription along with Standard and Priority support is available for all Business Line offerings. The SUSE Linux Enterprise offerings are positioned to all three OEM routes to market and to be sold to Corporates at all sizes. All available Linux Business Line offerings can be found on the actual NOB (OEM) pricelist.
The Business Line offerings are available to direct OEM business as well as to the System Builder Channel (indirect purchase through an authorized OEM Distributor) and to Appliance vendors.
Volume Line
The Volume Line was especially created to serve high unit volume business to be sold to consumer markets and to help our partners to meet WTO regulations in very price sensitive markets. This means that this offering soley targets bundles with PCs, Laptops, Software etc. to be sold to private end-users/consumers.
The Volume Line offering is limited to SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop product, including 60 days Subscription.
The Volume Line offering is only available to partners with direct contractual relationships with Novell.
