If you're in the business of helping customers solve business problems, the Novell PartnerNet for Solution Providers program gives you the resources you need to design, deliver and support the solutions your customers need today.

The tiered structure of the Program means the level at which you as a Solution Provider (whether value added reseller, distributor, channel partner, consultant or system integrator) will engage with Novell is designed to fit your business model, thereby matching your existing skill sets and resources to the goals that make sense for your business. All new Partners enter the Program at the Silver Level, following which they have the option to migrate upwards to the Gold Level, or on invitation to the Platinum Level, if this meets their business objectives and provided they satisfy the requirements for these levels of participation.

Tier Structure Overview

The tiered structure of the PartnerNet program means the level at which you as a Solution Provider (whether value added reseller, distributor, channel partner, consultant or system integrator) will engage with Novell is designed to fit your business model, thereby matching your existing skill sets and resources to the goals that make sense for your business. All new Partners enter the Program at the Silver Level, following which they have the option to migrate upwards to the Gold Level, or on invitation to the Platinum Level, if this meets their business objectives and provided they satisfy the requirements for these levels of participation.

The Silver Level is the entry level for partners who are looking for support from Novell in building solutions for their customers. It offers a whole range of facilities, from online access to the complete range of Novell co-marketing, sales and development resources, to a subscription to the Novell Software Evaluation and Development Library.

The Gold Level allows partners to increase the level of PartnerNet benefits they enjoy from Novell, and to use those additional resources to drive the partner relationship to a higher level. If you specialize in any of the areas that mirror Novell’s main solution offerings – Data Center, Security and Identity, Resource Management, Workgroup and Desktop Solution – you have the added benefit of being able to promote yourself as a Novell Specialist to both customers and other partners in the Novell ecosystem.

The Platinum Level is by invitation and represents Novell strategic alliances with major industry partners. Platinum relationships are formulated around synergistic opportunities to maximize return on the partner relationship. Platinum partners enjoy dedicated account management, business planning and developer support, and the opportunity to co-engage with Novell on major customer opportunities.
