Linux Technical Specialist

The Linux Technical Specialization validates Linux engineer-level skills for enterprise network managers or architects, and requires that you take the Novell Practicum for the Novell Certified Linux Professional (CLP) 10 certification.

The number of technical certifications required in fiscal year 2008 for a Linux Specialist Partner are as follows:

  • Silver Linux Specialist – One (1) x Certified Linux Professional (CLP) 10 certification
  • Gold Linux Specialist – Two (2) x Certified Linux Professional (CLP) 10 certification
  • Platinum Linux Specialist – Three (3) x Certified Linux Professional (CLP) 10 certification, of which a minimum of one (1) person has taken the additional test to gain their Novell Certified Linux Engineer (CLE) 10* certification.
