| Novell GroupWise 8: Upgrading Your Existing GroupWise Environment | Designed to help you make a smooth transition to GroupWise 8, in this course you learn how to upgrade your existing GroupWise environment to Novell GroupWise 8 on both NetWare® and Linux. This course is intended for those who will be responsible for upgrading to GroupWise 8. It will show how to upgrade GroupWise on both NetWare and Linux. | Configuring GroupWise Using Novell Cluster Services for Linux | You then build a shared storage device on which you install a GroupWise Basic System consisting of a Domain and Post Office and see how to create the loading and/unload scripts and migrate the GroupWise services from one node to another. | Domain Services for Windows | Novell Domain Services for Windows, a suite of technologies available in Open Enterprise Server 2 SP1, provides cross-authentication capabilities between Windows Active Directory and Open Enterprise Services 2 Linux servers. It can also be configured as a stand-alone Domain Controller, emulating a Windows Active Directory Forest. In this course, you learn the technologies involved in making this work. You will learn how to create cross-forest and cross-domain trust relationships between Active Directory and eDirectory. You will learn how to manage Group Policy Objects from the Windows XP Workstation utilities as if they were stored in Active Directory. | Migrating from ZFD to ZEN Configuration Management 10. | Because the ZENworks Configuration Management architecture is radically different from the traditional ZENworks Desktop Management architecture, you cannot perform an in-place upgrade of ZENworks Desktop Management to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management. However, ZENworks 10 Configuration Management provides a set of tools, called the ZENworks Migration Utility, to help you migrate your data from previous ZENworks products. The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with the ZENworks Migration Utility and the process for migrating a traditional ZENworks environment to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management.
