| Partner application | Partner sign-up and renewal as a Silver level partner available online. Participants are approved at the regional level. |
| Annual partnership fee | Submit US$295/€295 annually. |
| Classroom quality measurement | Novell reserves the right to request student evaluations on any Novell course you teach. |
| Authorized courseware | Use only courseware authorized by Novell or vendor-approved material. |
| Use of an Authorized Novell Instructor (NAI) for all Novell course delivery | A Novell Authorized Instructor must teach all Novell courses delivered by a Novell Academic Training Partner. |
| Qualified academic institution | Maintain accreditation as a university, community college, vocational or private school, technology training center, secondary school or grade school. |
| Training hour maximum | Cannot teach any one Novell course for more than 7 hours per week (for exceptions, contact Novell). |
