Bringing choice through Novell Pulse and Google Wave federation

March 25, 2010 5:59 pm

Earlier this week Novell unveiled a preview of its real-time collaboration platform, Novell Pulse and announced that it will begin giving accounts to BrainShare 2010 attendees in the coming weeks. Today, in Salt Lake City, our engineers were joined on the BrainShare stage by Google to demonstrate some more of the benefits that federation between Novell Pulse and Google Wave will bring to both users (video will be available shortly).

In addition, Ian Roughly, an architect working on Novell Pulse, has just posted a blog on the decision to standardize on the Google Wave Federation Protocol, what it brings to Novell Pulse and why that's good news for customers. You can also see what Google has to say about how the two platforms will work together here.
