I had to give up on SLED 11 and go to OpenSUSE 11.2 because of so many multimedia limitations and power management issues with my Lenovo Thinkpad. I couldn't play any mp3 files, couldn't play the most popular video formats, couldn't bring my laptop back from sleep. The list goes on. I know there are licensing issues for the multimedia formats but this is a commercial distro. It should include those things and do it legally.

I might try it again since I own the license but I think Novell needs to be more aggressive with SLED as opposed to SLES. Linux advances come so quickly that locked down distros like SLED are outdated when they are released.
