The openSUSE project recently announced that it was selected as one of the 150 mentoring organizations for Google's Summer of Code. In addition, the Mono project, another Novell sponsored open source initiative, announced that it will be participating in this great annual program. The Google Summer of Code helps student developers earn cash while contributing to open source projects.The deadline for students to get involved is this Friday, April 3.
