The most common directory relationships are simple collections that stem from objects having similar attributes. The Novell eDirectory full-service directory takes these similarities into account, allowing a common action to be applied against collections of objects. These can include groups and organizational roles.

Example:

The Novell eDirectory full service directory allows you to define a common group with members from anywhere in the tree. In this example, the Engineering Group is comprised of members from two different containers. As members, each user will receive any rights that are assigned to the group object.
