Concensus SIF Integration Module for Novell Identity Manager
Overview
K-12 academic customers can break down network data silos with the Concensus Consulting “SIF Integration Module” for Novell Identity Manager. This solution, developed according to the SIF Organization 2.x certification requirements ( www.sifinfo.org ), makes it possible to eliminate the “manual redundant data entry” of student, faculty and staff information by allowing the Student Information System (SIS) and/or the HR System to act as the authoritative source for user credentials. Automate the complete lifecycle of user accounts including provisioning, de-provisioning and suspension of student and staff accounts. For example, when you create, modify, or delete a student account in a Student Information System (SIS), this solution will seamlessly and automatically update the directory.
