Overview

Identity Manager Driver 3 for Java* Messaging Services is a component of the Identity Manager Integration Module 3 for Message System. This driver works with Identity Manager 3 to provide interoperability between JMS-supported systems and Novell® eDirectory®. It uses extensible markup language (XML) to perform data and event transformation, converting eDirectory data and events into XML data and vice versa.

Specifically, this driver offers several opportunities for secure identity management integration, including the following:

• Native XML-based API connectivity to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications from SAP*, Oracle*, JD Edwards and others
• Native XML-based connectivity to and from Web application servers, including IBM* JMS, BEA WebLogic*, Novell exteNd™ and others
• Supports the latest JMS standards (JMS 1.0 and 1.1) providing support to most popular JMS products including JBoss, Websphere, Sonic and Tibco
