Overview
Nsure™ Identity Manager Driver 1.7 for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)-compliant directories is a component of the Identity Manager Integration Module for Directory. This driver integrates data between Novell® eDirectory™ and the following LDAP-compliant directories and servers:
- Critical Path InJoin Directory
- IBM SecureWay Directory
- iPlanet Directory Server
- Netscape Directory Server
- Oracle Internet Directory
- Sun ONE Directory Server
This means that any event triggered within one of these directories or servers can be transparently captured and sent to eDirectory. (The driver now supports LDAP servers that don't support a change log.) Once copied to eDirectory, the data can then be shared with any other server or directory linked to eDirectory through an Identity Manager driver. The bi-directional data-sharing capability of Identity Manager also enables data changes made in other applications or systems to be sent to supported LDAP-compliant directories via eDirectory and Identity Manager Driver for LDAP.
