Identity Manager Driver for RSA

The Identity Manager driver for RSA Authentication Manager allows organizations to fully integrate their RSA and Identity Manager solutions. Using the driver, users and groups can be provisioned, maintained and de-provisioned and tokens can be managed, assigned and unassigned based on real-time events in the Identity Management infrastructure.

Features

  • Automatically provision accounts in RSA server based on employee lifecycle events. For example, newly hired employees can automatically receive an RSA account and token with the appropriate groups assigned based on the new hire's job role. Group provisioning (and activation to RSA sites)
  • Provision accounts into the ACE/RSA server based on eDirectory events (new hire/etc.)
  • Automatically manage token pools. Assign different token types to different constituencies based on Identity Management data and events.
  • Full integration with User Application workflows. Use workflows to request tokens or group membership, approve access and manually assign tokens as appropriate.
  • Improve security by instantly disabling assigned tokens for accounts that have been disabled (or have become unauthorized) in eDirectory
  • Manage PIN and token status for new and existing users. Utilize Identity Management infrastructure for PIN resets and password changes in RSA.
  • Full featured and bi-directional driver. Configure RSA driver with policies and style sheets just like other drivers.
  • The driver runs on all RSA supported non-appliance ACE server platforms (i.e. UNIX, Windows, etc.)

Benefits

  • Improved security. You will be certain that terminated or disabled users no longer have access through RSA.
  • Reduced helpdesk costs. Your users can self-manage their tokens, groups, PINs and passwords
  • Reduced Administration costs. Total integration with workflow allows your end user constituencies to manage their own access.
  • Enable Role Based Administration. Bi-Directional support for management of tokens and group memberships allows your organization to utilize Role Based Administration practices when managing RSA systems.

System Requirements

  • RSA/ACE Server 6.x or higher (7.x available upon request with support for On-demand Authenticator and new 7.x-related features)
  • eDirectory 8.7 or later
  • Novell Identity Manager 3.5.1 or later
