With MySQL Network by Novell, you now have a single point of contact to support your MySQL databases, including those running on SUSE® Linux. Novell is the first and only Linux infrastructure vendor to offer enterprise-level support for the open source MySQL database. This offering builds on previous agreements in which Novell bundled MySQL with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 and NetWare®.

By combining your Novell Premium Service agreement* and a MySQL Network subscription, you receive support for your MySQL database running on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and other operating systems.

With the MySQL Network by Novell subscription service, you receive enterprise production technical support, including the following benefits:

  • Unlimited technical support service requests
  • Certified MySQL software
  • MySQL maintenance, which includes patches, updates and upgrades
  • Access to MySQL Network
  • Indemnification
  • Proactive service alerts and technical advisors

Launched in February 2005, MySQL Network is a comprehensive, attractively-priced subscription offering that provides your organization with everything it needs to successfully develop and deploy scalable database solutions with MySQL. The subscription includes access to certified MySQL software, updates and upgrades, proactive alerts and service advisors, the online MySQL Knowledge Base and full production-level technical support.

*Pricing is per server with enterprise pricing available. You can also choose to purchase a standalone MySQL Network by Novell subscription that does not require a Premium Service support contract.
