Minimum Hardware Requirements

• A single 1.4 GHz Pentium or equivalent processor
• 512 MB RAM
• 36 GB of available disk space
• A single 100 Mbps network connection (with access to the Internet)

Operating System

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or later (Web, Standard or Enterprise Edition)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 (Standard or Enterprise Edition-SP2 optional but recommended)

Warning: Novell® ZENworks® Patch Management must be installed on an operating system that is not a domain controller and uses the default English-United States Locale configuration. Additionally, ZENworks Patch Management installs SQL Server 2005 Express Edition RTM during installation. Therefore, you must not have any database server installed prior to the installation of ZENworks Patch Management.

Other Software Requirements

To install Novell ZENworks Patch Management 6.4, your server must be a clean OS installation and meet the following additional requirements:
