Novell will introduce the SUSE® edition of Moblin for netbooks and nettops that will soon be available through a wide range of OEMs and ODMs partners.

Additionally, Novell aims to make SUSE edition of Moblin as easy to procure as possible by working closely with our OEM partners. Today's desktop operating system channels will also be able to bring this new and disruptive solution to market effortlessly.

Moblin offers users a friendly way to access the Internet, enjoy multi-media and interact with friends on social networks. Novell is leading several projects in these areas to enhance the Moblin experience.

About Moblin

Moblin is an open source project, hosted by the Linux Foundation, that provides an optimized Linux platform for the next generation of mobile devices including netbooks, mobile Internet devices (MIDs), in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, and other embedded devices. Moblin is optimized for Intel Atom Processor-based devices.

Novell is working closely with Intel and the Linux Foundation to bring this innovative and completely new user experience to end-users by developing rich media management, collaboration software and user interfaces optimized to run on netbooks with Moblin v2.0.
