symptom

NWMKDE.NLM is consuming a large amount of memory when it loads.

cause

The NWMKDE.NLM will load with the amount of memory that is specified in the BTI.CFG.  The specific parameter within the BTI.CFG is the CacheSize=.  By default this is set at 1024.  This value may be increased based on the recommendations and needs of a given product or service.  The NWMKDE.NLM will allocate the amount of memory specified in the BTI.CFG at the time it is loaded.  It does not allocate the memory as it needs it.

fix

Configure the BTI.CFG file to reflect the desired amount of memory that NWMKDE.NLM will allocate at the time of loading.
