Frameservice error trying to load tasks in iManager.

Environment

The problem only occurs with some browsers; other browsers accessing the same iManager server display no error.

The problem only occurs when accessing the iManager server by its IP address. The problem does not occur when accessing the iManager server by its DNS name.

Situation

Clicking on any link on the menu on the left gives the following error message on the central frame:

Not Found
The requested URL /frameservice was not found on this server.
Going to the "View Objects" tab and trying to search for objects gives this error in the left navigation frame:

Not Found
The requested URL /webacc was not found on this server.
I'm already logged into imanager, I now want to access the pages pointed to by the links on the left side panel.

Resolution

Workaround: Access the server by its host/DNS name only.

Changing 'frameservice' to 'imanagerservice' resolves the issue as well for the page being accessed.

Additional Information

Some browsers don't re-use the fact that you've already accepted the "address vs. certificate" mismatch warning when it later pulls other frames from the same site.
