After using ZEN imaging, the machine will Blue Screen

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management - ZfD7
Novell ZENworks 6.5 Desktop Management - ZfD6.5

Situation

This started happening with the new 2.6 kernel from ZfD 6.5 SP2 or ZDM 7
After using ZEN imaging, the machine will Blue Screen
The machine reports several checkdisk errors after imaging with ZEN.
During ZEN imaging, the machine fails with a segmentation fault. The machine is not successfully restoring an image. The image fails during the middle of the imaging process with a segmentation fault.
When deleting and re-creating partitions, the new partition is not cleared out, i.e. when the restore starts, files already exist in the partition - the IMG PCx command is not clearing the partition.

Resolution

For ZDM7: Fixed in ZENworks 7 with SP1 Desktop Management, available athttp://download.novell.com

For ZDM6.5 SP2: fixed in ZENworks 6.5 Desktop Management SP2 IR1 or newer found at http://download.novell.com

Additional Information

Note that this only happens when reimaging a PC, and using the a1:p1 form of the restore command.
