Changing the Virtual Server Name fails to save the new name when cluster enabling an existing pool

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES)
Novell Open Enterprise Server (NetWare based)
Novell Open Enterprise Server (Linux based)
Novell iManager 2.6

Situation

When cluster enabling an existing pool or re-creating a cluster resource for an existing pool using Novell iManager 2.6 and changing the Virtual Server Name, the new name is not saved on completion of the resource creation. The cluster resource is created with the default Virtual Server Name.

When using iManager and NSSMU to create a new cluster resource and then specifying a name other than the default the new Virtual Server Name is saved correctly.

Resolution

This is fixed with Novell iManager version 2.7 to be released as part of Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES2).
