How to change the default spell checker language

Resolution

For Windows2000 you can create a file in Notepad containing the following:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\WritingTools]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\WritingTools\US]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\WritingTools\US\TextLang]
"Dialect"="UK"
"Language"="UK"

You can fill in any language you want as default language here, just make sure you use the official Countrycode and the supporting *.MOR or *.LEX file is existing in the GroupWise directory

Save this file as "spell.reg"

Doubleclick the file you have just created....
On the question:
"Are you sure you want to add........... to the registry?"
Answer "Yes"

This can also be run from a login script or pushed out using ZenWorks so that all users get the same settings.
