This document (7001513) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Novell ConsoleOne 1.3.6
Novell Open Enterprise Server (Linux based)
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2)

In ConsoleOne, select a volume or a folder on a volume,  right-click on it and select properties. This will open an error message in a separate window saying:

Error Message
Unable to get the attributes of the object
Unable to get the details for the selected object
Some pages may not be available.

The only available choice is to close, and the following message will appear:

no Property Pages Available

Here the only choice is OK, and you will be returned to the main window.

OES2 linux Administrator has enabled

The general advice is to use iManager instead of ConsoleOne, but removing this option will make ConsoleOne behave normally again.

Additional Information

A new .jar file has been released that will resolve this issue.  The file, JNDIFS.JAR, can be found on
Choose ConsoleOne as product, and enter the filename JNDIFS.JAR as search word.
