Situation
Cannot add a GroupWise 8 Post Office as an authentication source in GMS 2.04.
Cannot specify an GroupWise 8 Post Office as a Email Accelerator.
ERROR: "COM error VerifyConnection error" .

Resolution
This issue is resolved with GMS 3.0 for both Windows and Linux

Steps to duplicate:
From the GMS Admin Console. Select propeties of the Mobile Console, select the Authentication tab. Add a GroupWise source.
Enter the following:
Description
IP or DNS and port of the Post Office
Hit Enter
specify a GroupWise user and password
Hit Okay
