Situation
So far in any older versions of GroupWise you were unable to run any special GWCheck options against Caching / Remote or Archive mailboxes. These MISC option was available only for online mailbox - run against Post Office.
Resolution
With GroupWise 8, there is a new startup option for standalone GWCheck:
1. for Windows version "/so"
2. for Linux version "--so"
If you start GWCheck with this new option, when you select either Remote / Caching or Archive option within the Database Type section, the MISC tab is still present as it was available only when selecting Post Office option.
