GroupWise Mobile Server 2x windows does NOT have this problem.
This issue is specifc for GroupWise Mobile Server 2x Linux, 3x Linux and 3x Windows.
The work around is to use the GroupWise address book to export the users. Modify the export file and then add a first or last name to the user. Import the export file. By default the export file has a NAB extenstion.
