Renaming object with '\' included, leaves GroupWise object non-administrable

When a GroupWise user is renamed with a name including an esscape character(\) the administrator cannot change anything of this user.

Also deleting this user is no longer possible.

 

The solution to get this user accessible again, is to send the domain database of the Primary domain to Novell Technical Support and have the user(s) renamed back to its original name.

After this the customer needs to do a 'Top-Down Rebuild'

When renaming a user 'user' to 'user\', a warning will be shown that this is not an allowed character and the only option left is to cancel.

Despite the cancellation, the object is renamed and the user is left unadministrable
