Situation

While publishing a calendar in caching mode , the URL of the Pulished Calendar shows up the IP address of the Web Calendar Publsihing Host Server instead of DNS name .
URL of the Published Calendar displays the DNS name in online mode.

Resolution

Reported to development.

Additional Information

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Install Groupwise 8 or Groupwise 8 Hot Patch 1 agents .
  2. Install and configure Web Calendar Publishing Host.
  3. Login to Groupwise 8 or Groupwise 8 Hot Patch 1 client in the online mode.
  4. Create a new  Calendar and publish it.
  5. The URL of the Published Calendar has the DNS name of the Publishing Host Server.
  6. Shift to the Caching Mode and the same URL now displays the IP Address of the Publishing Host Server instead of DNS name.
  7. Create a new Calendar in the Caching Mode and publish it . It still displays the IP Address of the Publishing Host Server.
