The number 6 is stripped from addresses sent from Palm devices in GMS.

Situation

Emails addressed with certain combinations of the number 6 are stripped.  Examples include user6622@domain.com  are sent to groupwise  and then to the internet as user22@domain.com.  There are multiple strings that fail. example 661 works  662 failes.  The sent item properties of the GroupWise user will show how GroupWise received it.  The GMS log file pim.log will also show the stripped address. 

Resolution

This has been resolved in GMS 3.0 for both Linux and Windows.  These files are posted on the download.novell.com website
