What is the best way to stop a GWCHECK operation when run from ConsoleOne against either an MTA or POA?

Resolution

The best way to stop a GWCHECK operation when launched from ConsoleOne is to shut down the agent it was run against. If the GWCHECK thread is stopped while the agent is still running it could still leave the database in an unstable state. If the agent is brought down, either by pressing F7 or by pressing ESC and selecting Yes to exit, this will gracefully close the GWCHECK threads. The agent in question can then be restarted.
