GroupWise 8 HTML Global Signatures Not Added to Outbound Email

GroupWise 8.0 Hot Patch 1
Novell NetWare 6.5
Situation
On GroupWise 8.0 and 8.0 HP1 systems running on NetWare 6.5.x, Global Signatures in HTML format (configured in ConsoleOne under Tools > GroupWise System Operations > Global Signatures) are not appended to outbound HTML messages. For messages sent in both plain text and HTML format, the signature text does appear correctly when the message is viewed as plain text.
This problem is only seen when GWIA is running on NetWare (the problem does NOT happen when GWIA is on a Linux or Windows server)
Resolution
Novell anticipates that a fix for this issue will be included as part of GroupWise 8.0 Hot Patch 2 (HP2).
