GroupWise 8.0 HP1 Messages Downloaded via IMAP4 clients (such as NotifyLink) do Not Show Attachments

Environment

GroupWise 8.0 Hot Patch 1
GroupWise 8.0 HP1 Post Office Agent (POA)
GroupWise 8.0 HP1 Internet Agent (GWIA)
Novell NetWare 6.5x

Situation

In GroupWise 8.0 Hot Patch 1, messages that were sent from a GroupWise client and downloaded via IMAP4 (such as with the Thunderbird mail client, or by NotifyLink to send to a mobile device) do not display attachments.
 
The problem appears to happen only if the GroupWise 8.0 HP1 POA or GWIA is running on NetWare 6.5x (GroupWise agents running on Windows or Linux servers are unaffected).

Resolution

The problem with "missing" attachments is caused by GroupWise not returning the attachment filename correctly via the IMAP4 protocol.
 
A fix for this issue is included as part of GroupWise 8.0 Hot Patch 2.
