Multiple attachments cannot be edited simultaneously while composing in Groupwise Client

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8
 

Situation

Unable to edit multiple attachments while composing email
Unable to open/edit an other attachment if one attachment is already open or being edited
Multiple Attachments can be viewed in GroupWise Window but cannot be opened simultaneously in its own application

Additional Information

Steps To Duplicate:

  1. Install Groupwise 8 Client or Groupwise 8 Hot Patch 1 or Groupwise 8 Hot Patch 2 client.
  2. Compose an email.
  3. Attach two or more files of different format e.g., Word document and a Text file.
  4. Double click and open one of the attachments. It will open in its own application.
  5. Without closing the first attachment, try double clicking an other attachment. The file does not open.
  6. Right click the second file and click View. It works fine.
