GroupWise 8 WebAccess - Replies to some messages using Safari or Chrome browsers send with blank message body

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 1 (SP1)
Novell GroupWise WebAccess
Apple Safari 4.0x web browser (on Mac and Windows)
Google Chrome 5.x web browser

Situation

Replies to certain messages from GroupWise WebAccess sent using Safari and/or Google Chrome web browsers send with a blank message body

For certain messages
sent into GroupWise from an external mail client (such as Microsoft Outlook 6), when the GroupWise user replies to those messages from WebAccess using a Safari browser (either on Windows or Mac), when the reply goes out, the message body is blank, both in the recipient's mailbox and when viewed in the GroupWise Sent Items folder.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in GroupWise 8.01 Hot Patch 1.
