Unable to retract some appointments from Calendar

Situation

Unable to retract some appointments from Calendar
GroupWise 7 Client gives an option to retract the appointment but the appointment does not get retracted
No option to retract some Appointments from GroupWise 8 Client while resending the appointments

Resolution

If the sent item for the appointment is deleted from the "Sent Items" and the Trash, then appointment cannot be retracted. Please do not delete the sent item from the "Sent Items" before resending the Appointment. If the sent item is deleted before resending the Appointment, GroupWise 7 Client still gives an option to retract it while resending but GroupWise 8 Client does not give any option to retract at all.
