After synchronizing mails from GroupWise mailbox into GMS you could see above error listed several times in a POA log file. Synchronization works fine, in most cases all mails with attachment(s) get synced. Sometimes you get synced a mail but attachment is missing or other combinations.

A root cause of problems is a space string in a name either of a domain or a post office. The space is one of reserved characters that should not be used in any object names.

The fix on GroupWise site is in GW8.01 HP1 onwards. With those GroupWise builds error is gone in combination with the Windows edition of GMS3. For the Linux edition, you will need to request newer GMS build 9.2.2.10, that has not been officially released as a next SP due to very few minor changes compared with the version 3.01.
