Environment

Validator 1.0 or later.

Situation

Installing a Validator license file

Resolution

The Validator license file needs to be named:  license.dat
With Validator installed at:  {validator-path}
  1. Copy the license file to: {validator-path}/config
  2. Restart the Validator server

License information is displayed on the initial Validator page (which is also the Help Page).  This information includes the number of connections you are licensed for, as well as the license expiration date (if applicable).
